A dental implant-supported denture is a denture that attaches to dental implants and allows for better functionality and aesthetics. A dental implant-supported denture is used for clients who are missing all of their teeth on at least one arch, or who are going to lose all of their teeth on at least one arch.

Dental Implants are placed into the bone and after sufficient healing time, attachments are screwed into the implants and a denture is then attached! In some cases, this can be done all in one day.

A snap-on denture is a removable dental implant-supported denture that typically uses two dental implants. The dental implants are placed, and require a 4-6 month healing process. During this time, you would wear traditional dentures. After the healing period is complete, our dentists would convert your denture to fit into the special attachments on the dental implants. In some cases, new dentures may need to be fabricated to snap into the dentures.

A hybrid (also known as All on 4) is a permanent dental implant-supported denture that typically uses four dental implants. The dental implants are placed and the healing denture is screwed into the dental implants…THE SAME DAY! You leave with a new tooth, all in one day. After the 4-6 month healing period, your temporary, healing denture is removed and our doctors screw in the final denture. There is also the option of removing the palate from the denture but only when six dental implants are used.

Traditional dentures are often bulky and ill-fitting. Many clients complain about their dentures and how they cannot chew or talk properly.

When the teeth are removed from the mouth, 40% of your jaw bone volume is reabsorbed within the first year. This causes shrinkage of your jaw bone, which your previous denture no longer fits. With a dental implant-supported denture, you don’t have to worry about your denture becoming loose or falling out while eating. It gives you back the security and confidence of a natural smile!
